Truck Campers – Truck Camper styles vary widely these days from ones with slide outs to smaller, lightweight pop-ups.  Truck campers are great if:

• You plan to “boondock” frequently, traveling down 4-wheel drive roads to find remote camping spots. It’s much easier to get to these remote spots if your camper is secured on the back of your truck instead of being towed behind it.
• You don’t want to have to tow a camper but like the idea of having a camper! Some people just really hate the idea of “towing” something, or having to back in a trailer.  With a truck camper you get the best of both worlds: the comfort of a camper without the hassle of towing!
• You don’t need a ton of truck storage space for kayaks, golf clubs, etc. Some truck camper models allow for a roof rack, and you can always add a hitch rack on the back for hauling your bikes.  There’s room inside as well to store lots while you’re driving to your camping location.
